Visit to the Franklin Scholars

We recently spent a day in Langdon Academy, Newham, visiting one of our partner projects and meeting some of the young people who are a part of it. We loved the idea of Franklin Scholars the minute we heard about it and we could not have been more excited to meet some of the teachers and students and be a part of their amazing work first hand.
We kicked off the day with an intro to the Challenge and how it all started, followed by a Q&A with some of the pupils, before breaking out and seeing how the Franklin Scholars work with each other.
We were completely bowled over by the energy and enthusiasm of the Franklin Scholars. Each question we were faced during the Q&A was considered and relevant and every one of the students demonstrated a real understanding of Life Skills and why they are so important as they questioned us on teamwork, resilience and perseverance.
We couldn’t be prouder to support Franklin Scholars and we hope, with the help of our support, they will be able to build on the amazing start they have made and reach even more schools and young people.
